Jaunt

Distilled book ideas, jaunt-sized. Walk through a chapter in 10 minutes; leave with the mental model, not the prose.

What’s inside

Books

Each book is a tree: an overview, then a chapter per node. Every chapter is a self-contained knowledge article.

Concepts

Cross-cutting ideas — federalism, separation of powers, judicial review — promoted to first-class pages once they recur.

Tags & categories

Browse material across books by topic. Tags are specific (judicial-review, commerce-clause); categories are broad (Civics, Productivity).

Learning paths

Curated multi-book sequences for guided learning. Coming soon.

How each chapter is structured

Every chapter page follows the same shape:

  1. Core idea — what the chapter is fundamentally about.
  2. Why it matters — the problem it addresses.
  3. Key takeaways — durable bullet points.
  4. Mental model — at least one diagram (flowchart, state, mindmap, sequence, timeline) with a written explanation.
  5. Practical application — how to use the idea.
  6. Example — original worked illustration, not lifted from the source.
  7. Related lessons — pointers to nearby material.
